Please read this before taking SVRN Shilajit resin.
Our products are food supplements, not medicines
SVRN Shilajit resin is sold as a food supplement under an FSSAI licence. It is not a medicine, and it has not been evaluated as a drug by any regulatory authority.
Nothing we publish — on this site, on our packaging, in our journal, or on social media — is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
This is not medical advice
Information on this site is provided for general education. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified doctor, pharmacist, or registered Ayurvedic practitioner who knows your medical history.
Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact a doctor or emergency services immediately.
What we do and do not claim
We describe what our product is and how it is made and tested — the resin's origin, its fulvic acid content verified by HPLC, heavy-metal screening by ICP-MS, and microbial testing on every batch. Those are measurable facts we publish batch reports for.
Where we mention traditional use, we mean exactly that: shilajit has a long history in Ayurveda as a rasayana, a daily tonic. Traditional use is not the same as clinical proof. Research on shilajit in humans is limited in size and scope, and we do not present it as evidence that our product will produce any particular result for you.
Individual responses vary. We make no promise of any specific outcome.
Who should not take shilajit
Do not take shilajit, or consult your doctor first, if you:
- Are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding
- Are under 18 years of age
- Take prescription medication of any kind, particularly blood thinners, blood pressure medication, or diabetes medication
- Have haemochromatosis or any other iron-overload disorder
- Have gout or elevated uric acid
- Have low blood pressure
- Have a kidney disorder or a history of kidney stones
- Have an active illness, or are scheduled for surgery
- Have a known allergy to shilajit or humic and fulvic substances
Discontinue use and seek medical advice if you experience an adverse reaction.
Suggested use
We recommend 250–500 mg once daily for most healthy adults — roughly a pea-sized portion — dissolved in warm water or milk. Begin at the lower end.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. More is not better. Keep out of reach of children. Store cool, dry, and away from direct sunlight. A food supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Purity matters
Raw, unpurified shilajit can contain heavy metals, mycotoxins, and other contaminants, and is genuinely unsafe. This is why we publish third-party batch testing and why we would rather you buy tested shilajit from anyone at all than untested shilajit from us. See our lab reports.
